This increases their fat content significantly, making them a poor choice for any dieter. There are many healthy toppings for baked potatoes. This makes a great side order, or even a full meal, that is filled with healthy and nutritional ingredients.

Creative approaches to nutrition can help teach your kids that healthy eating is fun. A fun way to involve your child is to assist them in cutting up their snacks into fun shapes. This is not only fun, but invests the child in the process, making him more likely to enjoy the food. Another fun project is making homemade trail mix with your child's help. Mix together dried fruit and some healthy, whole-grain cereal.
